Very hard not to click on the Mad Men post below, but we still have a couple season 2 episodes left before we can watch last night's episode.  So who wants to talk True Blood instead?The hubs dreamed about babies last night, but I dreamed of Eric.  He is yummy.I'm riding in PDX's sling from last week.  The Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle dynamic they are setting up in the show is playing much differently than the books.  It was easy to be on Team Eric with the books.  TV Eric is much more manipulative, and TV Bill is much more noble.I'm looking forward to some Sam-Andy teamwork to bring Maryanne down.  And I love Lafayette.

    We're still in the first season so I can't really discuss.  I just wish the vampires were more attractive, esp. Bill.

    Yup, totes agree with you about the love triangle. Just look at the FOTS attack fallout -- in the book Bill just took off after the perpetrators and didn't even look to see if Sookie was ok, whilst Eric saved her life. TV Eric naked in bed is super delicious, though. I hope they continue to develop his character. And show more of it. If you know what I mean. Team Eric.The maenad/Maryanne storyline is WAY more interesting in the show than the book, and it's clear that it will have a far more satisfying resolution -- since it pretty much has to. Maryanne isn't just going to walk away.

    We're only through 4 episodes. I keep wanting to kill T though, he has watched a few of the current episodes and keeps mentioning stuff from the second season. I want to strangle him every time he does it! I wouldn't touch Jason with a ten foot pole, but that doesn't make him any less good to look at.

    We finally caught up to the current episode last night. I didn't think Eric was super hot until season 2. Maybe it is the hair. He is size huge though and I never really noticed it till last night when he was pretty much taller than everyone. He was also on Generation Kill on HBO, which was really good. More Eric naked=me loving the show more.

    I've gotten my mom hooked on the books, but she doesn't have HBO and has not seen the show. Mom: "I wish it wasn't on premium cable."  Me:  "You don't really think network TV would do the sex scenes justice, do you?"Mom:  giggles  "No, I guess you are right.  I need to get HBO or Netflix or something, I suppose!"

    Don't know how internet savvy your mom is, mine could never figure this out, but you can view lots of shows on surfthechannel.com. They usually have the new episodes on the next day and sometimes the same night.

    I think Bill is attractive but Eric is hotter. There was an episode I think in early season 2 then Bill is nude in and I swore up and down he had a tan line. My H thought I was seeing things.

    I think it's because I've never really been attracted to light-haired men, with a handful of exceptions to the rule.  So I just find Bill way hotter than EricI've noticed a really bad make-up line a time or two that drove me nutty, with a super pale white face and then a regular shade neck etc.

    okay, caught up last night . . Eric's hot and manipulative, yadda yadda . . . CAN WE TALK ABOUT GODRIC'S DEATH SCENE?????? omg, so many tears.  That line about after 2000 years, the end being w. a human and human tears being evidence of God, HOLY COW.  I was SOBBING.  SOBBING!!  And before that, Eric begging and crying, OMG!  and now Sook's had his blood and he was able to feel Godric's death through her . . . it just really sets this up for Bill getting the ole booteroni.the scene with Jason had me in tears, too.I was getting fed up w. Mary Anne and her storyline but now I'm back into it and TB in general.
