i watched a show on PBS about people who own ferrets. It was so white trash. I'm going to just say it now, if you own a ferret, you are white trash. I don't even care about offending people, but ferrets are the Dog and Beth of the pet world. The program interviewed a variety of people and talked to them about their ferrets.
Several things:
1. They were talking about what happens when a ferret dies, and how sad they were. Then they started talking about burying them or whatnot. One woman said she is the default person for dead ferret bodies. She stores them up in here freezer till they can get about 25 pounds of dead ferret because they get a better discounton cremation. Then they just give everyone 2tablespoons or so of ashes per dead ferret. This woman just keeps bodies in a deep freezer, that they keep food in, for months.
2. No one just had 1 ferret. No, they all had like 6+ ferrets. You could tell their houses smelled.
3. The end culminated with the people they were featuring taking ferrets to a show. Yes, they show them. And apparently, the big show is in Ohio and it's called the Buckeye Bash. Winning there was a big deal and they all said that not winning just crushed them. I could go on and on about the stuff at the show but then states that 377 ferrets were brought, and 400 ribbons were given out. How anyone couldn't win is beyond me, and if you didn't get a ribbon you should be pretty ashamed.
