  I can PM you a couple of pictures of me and my sister at my RD if that helps. I had Indian outfit for that (did Western for the ceremony/reception). SEB did the hair and makeup for both events.
  
  I would definitely ask all of the vendors you're considering if they've worked on Indian brides and if they can show you any pictures, since not all of them are on the websites.

  You may want to look into the woman that runs Nijlane (www.nijlane.com). She does wedding makeup and alterations and she is Indian herself (I think).  She came recommended to us by one of our other vendors, though I ended up going with just a standard issue makeup counter person.  Anyway, GL!

  Special event Noel is doing my make-up and is Faboulous. I'm pretty pale but I feel that if your a good make-up artist then you can work on anyone. Good luck in your search.

  Where is the wedding? I am middle eastern and I had my makeup done at a salon in beverly. The makeup artist had experience with my skintone and I think she did an awesome job! It was Paula's Hair Salon and Day Spa.
