breakfast or lunch?

Hi everyone, me and my bridesmaids are getting ready at my parents house.  The hairstylist and make-up artist are coming to their home, therefore, I would like to either have breakfast food or lunch food for them to eat.  The hair stylist and make-up artist are going to be arriving between 8:30A and 9A and then the photographer is showing up about 2:30PM to take pics of me and the girls getting ready.  Do you think I should do bagels/muffins/coffee, or should we do a lunch thing w/deli stuff?  please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks.

    Honestly, I would have some of both.   You want to make sure that everyone gets something to eat so they make it through the day.   The advice I continue to get from my married friends is to ensure there is food around for picking at all day.  Apparently eating doesn't make the top "10 things to do on wedding day" list for very many people.

    Agree with PP.

     Hair and makeup for my wedding started at 10 a.m. so I figured everyone would get their own breakfast (although BMs staying at our room block hotel got free breakfast vouchers, so I guess I bought them breakfast, too. lol). I had spoken to the wedding planner at the hotel a few weeks before and requested sandwiches, chips, and waters be brought up for us. The planner also brought up extra stirfry from the lunch that my parents hosted for the OOTers, so we had a lot of food for everyone to choose from.

    I had a little of both for my girls and artists.  We started at 9am and went to about 2:00pm so I had order a variety of breakfast and lunch options from Au Bon Pain and it worked out perfectly.  Everything was stuff to pick at, nothing too heavy but plenty of options!   ABP worked out really well for us and they delivered to the hotel which was obviously a huge help.
