Hi Ladies,I'm a NY bride planning a Scottsdale wedding.  I came across the restaurant Maggiano's in Scottsdale-Does anyone have any opinions on having a wedding reception there?  FI & I ate at their restaurant when we were in Vegas and we LOVED the food.  Just wondering if it's appropriate for a wedding reception.  I've already received the menu's for the Scottsdale location and they're RIGHT in line with my budget!

    I don't have a whole lot of info, but there food is delicious! And I know that they do have a separate banquet room to use for a reception. I think that restaurant is so nice!

    Thanks! I e-mailed them for more information-ONly problem is that when i did directions from the resort I'm planning on staying at to the restaurant it was about 30 minutes away-I'm thinking that's too far for my OOT guests.  Most wil not rent cars; so i'd have to arrange transportation for them.

    I've been in that restaurant before; I've actually been to a meeting in one of those banquet rooms. It's kind of small, but I remember thinking it would be nice for a small wedding reception. It has windows (if I remember right) and very dark wood walls, and I'm pretty sure it has a hardwood floor. Plus, the food is fantastic and I remember the service being very pleasant.

    Also wanted to add--not sure what your hotel/resort budget is, but the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess resort is very close to Maggianos and it's one of the nicest resorts in town.

    I went to a bridal shower there.  The banquet room looks like it could fit about 9-10 tables with 8 people each.  I guess it depends on how large your wedding is.  The food is delish though.

    Thanks Jade174-I'm actually looking at the Fairmont scottsdale princess!  When I e-mailed their coordinator; she told me for my party i would have all 3 rooms-i guess the walls come down or something but i'd have to read her e-mail again to see exactly what she was saying.
