Limelight Photography

Hi everyone!  I got a call today saying that I won a free engagement session from Limelight Photography.  They said that they got my name from the wedding fair that was in June.  I just wanted to see if anyone else that attended the fair also got this call and if they're just trying to get me in there to sell me another package.  They left a message and I haven't called them back yet.  I just wanted to check with you ladies first.  TIA!

I went to 2 bridal shows and after each one of them I got several calls from Limelight telling me the exact same thing. I think it is their way of trying to get you in there to sell.

I'm sure that's just part of their marketing.  I'd go and have the free engagement session and then firmly decline when they try to sell you something else.  You might as well take advantage of it.

I went in June but I had tried to set up an appointment with them to get a feel of their business and to see if I'd be comfortable with them. They said they'd call me back on that Monday but I didn't get a call so I didn't feel comfortable about it. Communication between me and the vendors is a big deal for me and if I don't get a call I can't really trust them.Anyway I ended up with an awesome photographer in the end so I'm happy. Just be careful and enjoy the free gift :) It'll be most likely a chance for them to pull you into another deal with them so if you like them then go for it if not then keep looking.

I received the same call today and I think I'm just going to go ahead and go. I already booked my photographer and she's going to do our real engagements. I asked about the details regarding the free session and they said that they were just going to take some in-studio pictures. I asked what kind of background was offered-and he said black or white-whichever we preferred. The only thing we're probably getting is like, a handful of pictures on a CD. I mean, it's free, but still, I also think it's a marketing technique.

I will admit that their marketing is not all that great and I found them on google search back in 2008 for my wedding, so I did not get the free session. If you can look past their marketing, Limelight photography did an amazing job and their prices are really reasonable including the copyright for my pics, a wedding album with 100 prints that I chose and 3 11x20 one of the engagement and 2 of the wedding. We had 4 photo shot in different location for engagement and in my wedding dresses which had over 800 pics and for my wedding we received over 2600 pics. At all the photo shots and on my wedding day we had 2 photographers, they both was on time every time. Very dependable and reliable, highly recommend them.
