BM Hair?

How are your bridesmaids doing their hair?If getting hair done professionally, are you paying or are they?If they are doing it themselves, did you give any guidelines?Trying to figure this out... Thanks!

    I'm only having 2 bridesmaids and one of them has shorter hair, so she's going to leave it down and the other will probably do a half updo. They are paying for hair/make-up themselves. I bought the dresses and accessories for them. Also, I've asked both of them to wear black strappy heels (their dresses are lapis colored).

    They can have their hair done however they want. I would really like their personality to be apparent... and I'm paying for it.

    They can do what they want for hair and makeup, just not as glamourous as me - does that sound terrible. I'm paying an arm and a leg for it.

    I gave them the option to go with me or do it themselves. In the end they all went with me. The only thing I told them was that if the did it themselves they need to show up looking nice.

    My ladies have been asked to come with their hair and make-up done, pretty, classy, but to reflect their personalities.

    All of my BMs did their own hair.  I offered to reserve someone for them, but not to pay, and they all decided to do their own.  Mine was down and curly, so that's what they all basically did too.  I didn't have any guidelines though.  They mostly just figured, why have the fancy updo if the bride isn't?  Kwim?  It didn't matter to me either way. GL!

    I do hair and makeup for weddings and usually if the bride is making everyone get their hair and makeup done, she will pay...if she is leaving it open and just telling them to look their best, then they pay if they decide to get hair and/or makeup done ;)  Hope that helpshttp://specialeventhairmakeup.shutterfly.com/
