Sandals resorts - attire

Hi Everyone,

My FI and I are leaving for our honeymoon at Sandals Antigua in a couple of weeks.  I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of what I should bring to wear?  I didn't know if bermuda shorts and t-shirts would be appropriate during the day, or should I pack sundresses?  Do people really go to breakfast and lunch in swimsuit cover ups?  I believe they said long pants and collared shirts for the men for dinner...

Any advice?  I don't want to look out of place!

We have been to three Sandals resorts. I have a standard tropical weather packing list for 8 days and 7 nights in the link above my siggy pic. It's under travel tips. It's also downloadable and customizable,if you have excel or like spread sheet program. . Also, if you go to travel,st Lucia, st Lucia 2012 and look at the last day of pics, I have a pic of what the standard dress code means. Yes it is from SL but it also was the same in Jamaica and Antigua. HTH
  • Shorts/t-shirts are fine during the day.  I usually put on a sundress at night to go out to dinner.  Some restaurants require long pants and closed shoes for guys.  But, honestly I saw people dressed more casually.  Personally I'd rather be overdressed than underdressed.
  • *monkey girl - thanks for your detailed packing lists and travel info! Very helpful!
