PSA: Betty's Bridal in Clifton Heights is having a retirement sale

We just drove by Betty's on the way home tonight and it looks like she's retiring. There's a sign that says "everything must go." Not sure how long it's been going on or what they have left, but I'm gonna head there tomorrow to see what's up so I'll keep you posted. But just wanted to give everyone the heads up in case you're still looking for your dress!

Just got back. They do have quite a few dresses to pick from - the sale just started on Thursday. However, if you have a certain dress or set style you're looking for, it might not be for you. I would go if you have a general idea of what you're looking for, but are flexible with trying different things on. Two of the girls who where there while I was found *the dress* and it was their first time shopping. And they got their dream dress for around $300!

I bought my gown there. I love them.
I hope they're not closing! Maybe they are just refreshing their stock.

Anyway I highly recommed checking it out.  They have great dresses.

Nope, they are def closing, Betty herself said it was time for her to retire. I was there again today to get a petticoat. Which, if you're looking for one (I know a lot of people like to DIY dye them these days), they are only $25.

I was just there and I found a dress I really like....but I don't know if I should get it!!!! It's between the dress from Betty's and two from David's Bridal. Tonight I'm racking my brain b/c they aren't holding dresses!

Did you get the designer name of the one at Betty's so you can look up pics to post? I tried on a Mori Lee dress there that I LOVED, but when I sent the online picutre to my mom, she hated it, heh. It was hard to pass it up though, it was only $300! If you need opinions, I live a mile away and would be happy to come with! I freaking love dress shopping :-P

I didn't get the name, she just said private label. It' only $350 (50% off, I'm told). It's a 2-in-1 dress (I like), held together with velcro (I dislike). I just see myself catching the front of the dress walking down the aisle with a loud velco rip and my dress 1/2 off! I decided against it, and I'm going to stop by David's to get the dress I liked there. It's about the same price and much more flattering.

I didn't have one either time. I would get there fast though, it's probably slim pickings at this point.
