Bridesmaid Dress Advice!

Hi Everyone! I'm at the stage of looking for the perfect bridesmaid dress. I found a beautiful dress but don't know if it looks nice on all of my bridesmaids. Two of them are skinny, 1 is pregnant, and 2 are a little bigger than the others. How did you find a bridesmaid dress that suites everyone's body? Do all of them have to agress on the dress or is it my choice? HELP!!!

Look at http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Navigation/Wedding.jspThey have beautiful dresses that are styles that could TRULY be worn again. Plus, they're comparable to other bridesmaid dresses out there (if not less expensive). I've seen several weddings that used the Sophia and Juliet dresses and they looked BEAUTIFUL on all body types. I plan to let my girls choose between the two...whichever makes them more comfortable!

About where to go: I really didn't like David's Bridal, they were not helpful at all and their supply is big but not good. I LOVED Alfred Angelo, for about the same price, they were much more helpful, their dresses were of a higher quality, and they were more elegant. Now, about BMs: I would suggest going somewhere big like Alfred Angelo if your BMs are not local (only one of my 4 is local). I also have BMs of many different shapes and sizes and let them decide which dress they liked the best for themselves, My only requirements were that it be eggplant, not strapless, and knee-length. I think the dresses we ended up picking make all of the girls look cute and comfy. Hope that helps!

I took two of my bridesmaids to breakfast and then took them to the bridal shop where I'd pre-selected a bunch dresses for them to try on. Then I let them decide. My MOH was across the country (well, she still is) and she looked at photos online and gave her okay. I also talked with all 3 of my bridesmaids in advance about styles they did/didn't like.

3 of my BMs live in SD while another is across the country. I went shopping with the 3 BMs and we tried on a bunch of different dresses to see what would look good on everyone. After we found one, I then had my other BM try on the dress in her home town. We chose an Alfred Angelo dress and their dresses look great on different body types. I wanted them to feel comfortable and look good in the dress so I gave my BMs guidelines as to what I wanted (i.e. color, length, material) and let them decide on the dress (with my input).

I picked mine with my maid of honor I had an idea of what I wanted and my maid of honor went with me and my mom when I was finding my dress then we went over to the bridesmaid section while they worked on the paper work for my dress and she tried on bridesmaid dresses I found one I loved that looked good standing next to my wedding dress something I hadn't thought of until the sales girl mentioned it.
