Hello- We are planning a destination wedding in Newport Beach for late April 2010. We live in Phoenix- can anyone give me some insight to what the weather is usually like the last week of April? We are planning to do an evening yacht charter for our wedding/ reception. TIA! :)

    The bad thing about this area is that the weather is super unpredicatable.  It could be cool or warm (generally pretty mild either way).  In the evening, you can probably expect it to be fairly cool, though.

    If you are going to do a yatch you need to look into Electra Cruises. We are using them for our wedding and they are amaxing. They have amazing yatch and great vendors and great staff. You will love verything about them. Congreats on the wedding. As for getting married in late April the weather can be a little effy. know at night it get chilly cause it is the beach.
