Ceremony Decor

Hello ladies, I was thinking of how I could decorate the court yard we're getting married in. It will be held at the Omni La Mansion, I first thought I might not need a lot of decor because there is a lot of greenery and fresh flowers it has a big garden feel to it. I am not so sure anymore, I have so pictures of it I am just not sure how to upload them, Have any of youseen it? If so what do you think about the decor? Also, I am starting to think about our honeymoon the problem is that we are paying for our entire wedding so before we start to book anything for the wedding we have to see what we spend on the wedding and where we stand financially. Do any of you have and suggestions for affordable destinations?

Not sure about La Mansion. I've been to events there but never outside in the garden. Have you looked into Cancun for your honeymoon?? They had some awesome deals when we booked our honeymoon. What are you thinking your budget is going to be? You can't really beat Mexico, it's nearby, cheap and has amazing beaches.

Also, for the honeymoon, check out the honeymoon board and maybe ask a general question about where people are going, how long, and how much they are spending! See what falls within your budget.

Thank you so much for your input! We went on a cruise in May of last year to Mexico we went to Progresso, cozumel, and Carman Del Playa. So my FI doesn't want to go to Mexico again, But we may just have to since its very reasonable. I was also thinking about Puerto Rico. Do you know anything about it? Is it reasonable? Where to go? I have heard it's beautiful and nice to visit. Thanks again!

I was in San Juan this summer for a couple of days.  We didn't have a whole lot of time, but we did enjoy it while we were there.  Old San Juan is really cool.  It's very historic with lots to see.  If you are into history, there are a couple of old forts you can tour.  We ate at some really good restaurants, too.  However, don't expect much of the people.  Almost everyone we had contact with at the hotel and around the city were very rude.  It was like they were doing us a favor by doing what we paid for.  Weird.  At both of the restaurants we ate at, the servers were great, though.
