Blue Tulips? Dyed?

Hello everyone, my wedding color is light blue (davids bridal's CAPRI color).... I was wondering what everyone thinks about blue Tulips...They would probably be ordered in white and then dyed... and also...All one color blue or should i do different shades?

Why would you dye them?  There are some beautiful blue flowers.  including tulips.  Either way, Tulips are going to be quote pricey in December. i love this look

This could just be me, but it might get a little... monochromatic if you have light blue dresses, light blue decorations, and light blue flowers. The flowers can really serve as an accent, particularly if you do them in a complementary color, like hot pink or orange. That said, light blue is a pretty common color in flowers... hydrangeas (which are available year round), delphiniums, you can even get lavendar-colored roses. I'd probably stick with something that looked more natural (and is probably less expensive) than dyed tulips.

I like a contrasting color in flowers, not the same color as the dress. I am having my girls wear a rich gold and they are carrying red flowers for a Xmas wedding because I think it makes the colors pop more...I was in a wedding and they dyed the flowers navy-I thought they looked too artificial. Just my opinion! :)
