Vendor Reviews!

Sorry this is long, I just wanted to be sure everyone was included...Nazareth Hall: A+...what can I say? Everything was perfect; the food was amazing, Kim and Kevin, the event planners there, were super helpful. Everything went exactly the way it should.Urban Flowers: A+...another amazing job! The flowers were gorgeous, very reasonably priced, and Amy and her mom are super easy to work with! My mom put one of the bridesmaid bouquets in her fridge, and a week later it still looked as good as the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend this small shop in Rossford.Eston's Cake: A+ on taste, B on decorating...I have seen similar comments on them before. Their cakes tastes amazing, but you are extremely limited on your decorating options. Mine wasn't exactly the way it was supposed to be even though I gave them a picture, but it still looked good and tasted awesome!Class Act by Bob Norris DJ: A+....Craig really helped keep things moving smoothly throughout the night. I think he was concerned there weren't tons of people dancing, but we had a lot of people in from out of town who don't get to see each other often, so a lot of people with chatting instead of dancing, but they still had a ton of fun.Tim Rose Videographer: A+...we haven't seen the video yet, but Tim did a great job of being where he needed to be without being in the way and his prices are very reasonable.Jennifer Mott Photography: A+++...new to weddings, but not new to photography, her pics are AMAZING! She truly is gifted. If any of you nesties have small kids or babies, check out her site, her work with kids is unbelievable! I can't wait to see all of our pics. The Birds N Bees (Invitations): A+...the women at this shop in downtown Maumee are very friendly and helpful. I was having a difficult time finding what I wanted, and they helped me find it. They have tons of sample books to look through.Jane's Perfect Fit Alterations: A+...Jane is the sweetest lady and made the necessary alterations to my dress as well as made my veil. Very reasonable prices too!Officiant - friend of ours: A++++.....I am soo glad we had a friend perform the ceremony, he did an amazing job! To those considering this, I would recommend it, but caution that there is some added stress in that the pressure is on you and your officiant to layout the whole ceremony and all that. At the rehearsal, I somewhat felt as wedding director in addition to bride, but it paid off in the end.Bowers Carriage Company (horse drawn carriage): A+++...this was a dream come true for me. They actually drove the carriage down to the grotto an Nazareth Hall and then back up after the ceremony. The carriage and horses were gorgoeous and everyone was very friendly.Toledo Mud Hens Luxury Suite (rehearsal dinner): A++...this made for a very fun evening. The weather was gorgeous, the food awesome, and the Hens won. We got loads of complements on this!I think that is everyone, in addition to our friends and family, who made the day so special. I have about 20 green glass cubes from centerpieces and some glass dishes and metal scoops from the jelly bean buffet that I am willing to sell...if anyone is interested, let me know!

I have thought about doing rehearsal at Mud Hens game.  What is the luxery suite?  Is that the box seats or is that something different.  How much was the per head price to have it there also and what did it all include?  Sounds like everything turned out amazing for you!!!We are using Class Act-Bob Norris also, glad to hear you were happy with him!

The suites are the area around the top of the stadium...they have a couple rows of seats outside and then an inside area with a couch and stuff for people to hang out. The suite rental / tickets is about $900, which is for 18 people. If you look on their website,  they have a menu that has all the food prices. It really varies greatly based on the food you pick. We had two suites (which opened up into one big one, which held 36 people. We also had open bar for everyone, so that made it slightly more expensive, but just served hot dogs, pasta salad, and chips and stuff. The food was awesome, we got tons of compliments on the food and the whole night overall.

Your wedding sounds amazing! Congrats!I'm looking at Nazareth Hall next week. We're looking at the Ladyglen or Cadet West room. I'm super anxious, we're looking for a new hall now because the guest list grew but there's openings at Nazareth in 10 months! Would you mind telling me a little about it? Mostly just worried about the cost, I'm trying to keep this reasonable. If you wouldn't mind, could you send me an email with maybe the head price for the meal and the cost of renting the space? Atleast that would hold me over until I can go meet with the event planner!! My email is mblue1209@yahoo.com. Thanks so much!
