Too Cold Outside in Mid October to early November?

Hi Ladies,FI and I have decided to push the wedding up by 6 months. (eeek!)Do you think it's too chilly to have an outdoor wedding and reception in mid to late october or the first week of November?

    You could get lucky - there are definately times when we've had warm weather then; however, I would make sure you have a "Plan B" for indoors in case it is freezing!

    Maybe a heated tent? We are moving our event to a private home and i don't think 70ish ppl could fit inside the house all at once for dinner.

    Based on the weather we've been having, I think October is still usually warm enough, but November might be pushing it

    We are having an outdoor wedding on 10/17/09. The last few years the weather has been nice. We do have an indoor backup though.

    It's generally warm enough but an outdoor reception that goes into the evening might get too cool w/out a heated tent.  In any case you should ALWAYS have a plan B since (as some of us know all to well) you can't control the weather!

    I am doing a heated tent in December and they said no problem with the cold.  The heat and the sides are not what is going to cost you it is going to be the tent.  I would look into a tent for sure.

    I agree with PPs.  We are having an outdoor wedding on 10/17, but have made a backup plan for just in case it may rain, or be too cold.

    We had an outdoor ceremony on 10/11/08 at 5:30p.m. and it was absolutely gorgeous out. It was probably still in the 70s and sunny.
