Hi Everyone! Me and my husband (I love saying that!) got married on October 1st, and I have a ton of positive reviews to post:
The Madison Club - A+
They were fantastic! I can't possibly say enough good things about them, Justin in particular. There are two wedding coordinators there, Justin and Amy. I only worked with Justin, and loved him. I've heard not so great things about Amy, but I've never worked with her so I can't say for certain. The food was delicious, the service was perfect, they did everything we asked and more. We had our reception on the second floor in the "blue room". They were very accomodating, very professional, and willing to help with anything we needed. If I had to say something bad, I would say that the liquor is a little over priced, but it didn't bother me because the place was so worth it.
Prairie Floral out of Sun Prairie WI - A
Dina was great! She was very helpful, very respectful of my budget, and the flowers ended up looking great! Again, I only have positive to say. I wasn't too picky about my flowers and didn't ask for anything elaborate, but what I got was exactly what I wanted and it looked beautiful.
Celebrations DJ - A
I initially went with Celebrations because they were one of the less expensive places in Madison, but ended up really liking working with them. For a DJ we got Justin, and he was great. He played stuff that got people out on the dance floor, and was helpful with leading the night without being obnoxious. I really liked him. Overall they were very easy to work with. My only negative is that at first they got our contract wrong, but it only took a phone call to straighten out, and they admitted that it was there mistake.
Our photographer and our cake maker were both friends, not professionals, but they did a fantastic job!
Julia Grace Salon - A
Again, everything went great! I love this place. I worked with Mary setting up the group appointments, and she was very nice and helpful, even when I had to keep changing some things. For my hair I had Lacy, and for my makeup I had Jalissa. They were both wonderful! They did exactly what I asked for. I ended up paying 35 for my hair trial and 35 for my makeup trial and 65 for my hair and 65 for my makeup the day of. I didn't have anything super complicated, so I'm sure that can change.
I don't have any of the professional pics yet, but here's what I do have. This should show a good example of the flowers, my hair, and a little bit of The Madison Club.
