Here is the situation. I am Cacasian, and my fiance is an Asian-American guy who grew up in the United States. Earlier this year, his mom and grandmother invited themselves along to one of our wedding planning appointments, and I flipped out. Now he has mentioned that they want to come along with us when we go to buy the wedding rings. My questions are... Has this happened to anyone else, and were you okay with it? Would it bother you if your future in-laws invited themselves along when you went ring shopping? Why or why not?

    Just a suggestion, they most likely want to buy jewlery for you guys that you guys approve of... It is customary for parents and close relatives to give jewlery when a couple gets married.
