Dear Rich:Thank you so much for taking care of me the past 48 hours :).  From helping me up and down the stairs, to driving me to the ER, to  holding my hand and making sure the doctor was taking good care of me.  Also, for holding my purse, to fetching my "underthings" from the basement laundry room.  I couldn't have done it without you.  And as I stated last night as I was drifting off to percoset dream land...we're in this for richer or sicker, and for better and for poorer. Thank you so much for your love and help and kind words.  I love you!Love,Lura  :)

    here's how it happened...on tuesday the lawn cutters smashed in my rear passenger car  window.  I took my car to my parent's house (rich was hanging with my dad) to get it taped up with a bag.  went swimming, adn came back inside cause it was getting dark out.  as i was getting changed (and fb'ing) the wind really picked up so I got my keys, and ran to my car to bring it in the garage (window wasn't taped yet).  as i ran to my car i stepped wrong with my left leg and did somehting to my knee.  i couldn't walk and was in so much pain i was crying.  i threw my keys at rich and he brought my car in just as it started to pour.  i made it in the house (barely) adn my mom gave me an aleve.  it really didn't work and i was hobbing around a lot.  it was really painful.  i just wanted to go home.  so, after rich taped my window up, i decided to drive home.  after i got home i crawled upstairs and put an icepack on my knee and tried to go to sleep.  well, by midnight i was in so much pain i couldn't bear it, so i asked rich to take me to the ER.  We were there until 5am.  the ER gave me a leg brace and crutches (waste of money!).  then i went to sleep for about an hour adn then the phones started ringing with my coworkers and such.  I had to call the glass people to fix my car and the doctors.  Long story short...made it to the doctors by 2:15, and then got an MRI at4:15 ( but they didn't take me until 5:30).  it was such a long day with only about an hour sleep, and i had to come to work today cause one coworker is on vacay.  UGH.  my knee hurts so bad, and now my leg is cramping up.  I'm getting married in 52 days and i hope i don't need surgery cause i will be dancing at my wedding!  oh, the doc thinks i might have torn a ligament or something, but i'll get the results in a couple of days.

    oh, and no RSVP's for 3 days!!  WTF people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
