Florists

I wanted to get a sense of who people have used/or will be using for a florist decorator. I have interviewed 5 different companies and I think I have it down to two. But the 5 I interviewed were: Petal Pushers John Kevin Gallagher Flowers by David Mitzi and Co Mae and Co. TIA

Not on your list, but I am using Whimsical Welcomes and love working with her. There are a few other brides here that are using her too.

I also used Whimsical Welcomes and my flowers were outstanding and her prices were excellent.  She is the nicest person to work with and has such creative ideas.  Leslie's on FB now, so you can see what a lot of her brides say about her.  Check out her website and blog too.  www.whimsicalwelcomes.com

I contacted her as well, sounded extremely nice, friendly and cool to work with...but- was anyone else surprised by the (albeit small) consultation fee? I just hadn't seen this anywhere else.

I would look into Flower Sculpture in Paoli....her prices were better than Whimisical Welcomes (for what I was getting anyway) and she is incredible to work with!

London Creative Florist.  Although I hear they are booking up fast already into 2011.  215-634-0505.  Their prices can't be beat.

Regarding Whimsical Welcomes: Her consultation fee is worth it - she does mockups of ideas she has prior to your meeting, and also does a lot of research before hand. She was probably my fave. vendor!

I'm using An Enchanted Florist in Skippack.  I email her on a weekly basis with idea's and she's great with feedback. So excited to see how everything turns out.

I'm using Whimsical Welcomes too and love Leslie.  I'm an SPCA volunteer and I loved how her little fee was tied into SPCA donations.  She sketched four pages of ideas for me, set-up all kinds of mock-ups, gave me the flowers to take home, and had spent hours and hours with me on-line before we even met.  Our meeting lasted 4 hours.  All her preparation work was worth a lot more than the few dollars she charges.  It was money well spent.  I saved a lot more than that by using her rather than the 3 other florists I met with.  She does do things differently  - meetings, ideas, and the amount of time she spends with me - and she is so worth it.
