I can't remember exactly who, but I know there were a couple knotties who went here for their HM. I have some questions for ya'll about the resort, the different room types, etc. TIA!

    Haven't gone yet, but I'm going in November!! :)  We are staying in one of the two-story terrace rooms - I can't wait!

    I am going in November and we got the two story room. Check out trip advisor.com and this review from weddingbee.comhttp://www.weddingbee.com/2008/06/30/excellence-playa-mujeres/A lot of people say that the excellence club upgrade is only worth it if you are getting it free through your travel agent but not worth paying your own money for.

    The following week...LOL! We were originally planning to go the week of Thanksgiving (which is the week after our wedding), but we wanted to be home for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. That would have been so fun if we were there the same time!

    Our honeymoon will be in May, and their rates seem to be higher that time of year. I was trying to figure out if the "Excellence Club" really made a difference, and also if the rooftop terrace rooms were really worth the extra money. For the time we want to go a regular room is 2,750 (7days) vs. 3,850 for 2 story rooftop terrace room. I don't really think its worth 1,100 more. Especially when the room has a balcony anyway. I'd rather use the extra money at the spa/activites/etc.
