my FI got a new car with the cash for the clunkers thing yesterday! but FYI they were saying at the dealership that the plan will be ending monday so hurry if you want to take part!

Your nephews are the cutest things ever! Everytime I see the picture it makes me want kids sooner than I thought. Just to let everyone know that not every dealership is participating in the Cash for Clunkers program. You may want to call before you go.

aww thanks! and ya, i agree, definitely call ahead. the dealership we were at were already giving us heck for trying to do cash for clunkers, apparently they were trying to phase it out.

some dealerships have extra restrictions, some have less.

A lot of dealerships are phasing it out because they never got their money from the government. Some people even had to return cars they bought because nothing ever went through.
