advice please..

hello,
I have been lurking around the boards for some time now, even tho they have been very slow lately. I have been engaged for 3 years now and we just now decided to set a date lol. I just need some adive/ideas on what to do becuase my FI has a very large immediate family and i'd like to do something small with just our close faily and friends which is about 75 people. The thing is id like to do a non-traditional & kid friendly venue where i could have everything at. so any advice would be greatly appreciated=)

i was thinkin maumme bay or kalahari and renting rooms for people and makin a weekend out of it. i just wish i could think of more options. we havent exactly decided on a budget but it will probably be 5-10,000

I found the perfect place for you, how about mgm grand or greektown LoL!! Oh wait that's where I should have had mine & eliminated half the people!!!!! But on a more serious note how far of a drive are you wanting? I can come up with a bunch of cool & unique places in mi, not so much around here toledo has nothing. I honestly think we should look into a loan to open a dave & busters on front st.

Any of the waterparks in Sandusky would be cool...Cedar Point even....I like the Detroit idea, too.  You could even look at Put in Bay.
