Final guest count for Caterer

Quick question. I am starting to get back my RSVP's and thinking about my final head count to give my caterer. Should I include my photographer/DJ/Videographer in the count, so that way they get a chance to eat? What is proper etiquette for this? I would hate for them to go all night without food so I think I should include them. Does the caterer usually just let you throw them in? I really have no clue. TIA!

I know that you are supposed to feed your vendors.  I am assuming that your caterer won't just feed them on their own, so I would include them on the guest count. My best friend also had food and water set up earlier in the day for the photographers cuz we started taking pictures at her wedding like 5 hours before the wedding!  The photographers said several times how wonderful it was to have something set up for them...hth

I asked my caterers about what they recommend with this. They recommend feeding photog/DJ/Videog but not bartender. (bartender is also from the restaurant next door). They don't throw them in but they offered a boxed meal option they deliver during setup and mine was a 1/'3 of the price for the box than if I included them in regular meal. I liked that it would be all neat for them and delivered at set up time.

Oh, I like the idea of the boxed meal. I will ask my caterer about that. So the vendors would eat around set up time?

I would plan on including those vendors, but you might try mentioning to them ahead of time that you're planning to provide food. We paid for food for our photographer and kept telling her to eat and enjoy, but she insisted she didn't eat while on the job.
