Djs!

Hello again, I'm considering a DJ now for the reception (we were gonna do the iPod thing), and I'd like to know: -Who you hired -Package & Pricing I have no idea how much to expect it to cost, I thought $4-500 would be reasonable, but my first quote is for $1100, but that does includes classical guitar for the ceremony. t.i.a.!

We used Mick w/ Elite British DJ and booked a package that included month of coordination from his wife Julie.  I think we spent just under $2000 for the package.  If your wedding is on a saturday, you might have some difficulty finding a DJ that has the day open.  Expect to pay at least $200 an hour for a decent DJ with an established business.

I have also booked Elite British DJ (with Month of Coordination by Julie, also) and am sooo impressed with them already. Julie has been a huge help with suggesting vendors in our budget range and is willing to work with you even before your official "month of coordination" begins. His personality is worth the price...not another cheap and cheesy DJ. He reads the crowd and plays music accordingly. He definitely knows his stuff!
