Bars in SF

I'm having my bachelorette party the Thursday night before our wedding, mainly because I didn't want to do a destination bach party and many of our guests will be here by Thursday.  We're going to SF for sushi and then to a few bars.  A friend in SD suggested these bars: Bar None, Hush Hush, O'Reilly's, Redwood Room, and Starlight.  I've been to O'Reilly's for lunch and Redwood Room for cocktails.  RW is cool, but expensive and somewhat sceney. Can you recommend a bar or bars that are fun, not too sceney?  Dive bars are fine, just not too dive bar-y.  Any neighborhood is fine. Thanks!

The holy cow is affordable with a decently-sized dancefloor and has had a bachelorette party almost every time i've been there. They play fun music and take requests. Only drawback- kind of a young crowd- but you aren't there to meet people anyway. :)

i think the mission district has the best bars, but they are mostly dive-esque. zeitgeist, beauty bar, delirium, dalva, kilowatt, elbo room, make-out room, amnesia....not sure if thats your taste though.
