Necklace extender - PIP

Ok a lot of my questions lately revolve around jewelry!   Anyway.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could make this pearl necklace any longer?  It is a string of my grandmother's so I'd like to incorporate it into my day....however, it's pretty short and snug to the neck.  I'd prefer to have a string that hangs about halfway between my sternal notch and the top of my strapless dress.   Any ideas?  Sorry the pic is not fantastic, but hopefully you can see the closure.

Yeah you could easily attach a chain to one end of the clap and a lobster claw clasp to the other side - that way you could make it whatever length you want.

Let me know if you need help with that too! I would be happy to help!

If you close the hook part of the clasp and attach a chain to it with a jump ring with a lobster claw on the end, then put another jump ring through the other clasp and do the same, but with a ring on the end, that'd fix it nicely.  It should take you about 10 minutes and $1.50 to fix.
