Empire Room?

Hi! Has anybody here worked with the Empire Room in the last year or so? I heard from a competing venue that the caterer changed ownership within the last 5 years or so, and since then the customer service has gone down and the business isn't doing well.I'm pretty sure the Empire Room was one of the Knot Picks last year so I'm not really sure if I'd believe it (not to mention it was a competing venue that "warned" us). I just wanted to see if anyone had experience working with them. Thanks!

I know a Knottie just had her wedding there pretty recently and I'm pretty sure she loved it. I think it's a beautiful venue and was considering it myself but booked my venue before I looked at it. Hopefully someone on here can be more help.

Thanks. We went there for the second time today and I asked the catering manager about it, and she said she has had someone else tell her that a venue said that about them, and she knows what venue it is. I never told her who it was but I'm sure it was the same place. I don't think I believe it anymore, and will probably book them!
