My WTF is the time difference. Why start a summit at 7am when you know half of your attendees are from the west coast and feel like it's 4am? I've been up for 4 hrs after traveling all day yesterday and getting 5 hrs of sleep last night. Ugh! My skin feels like its got bugs in it and I can barely keep my eyes open.

WTF is with the extensive stuff you have to go through to be a hospital volunteer in NY... I have to get a physical, PPD test, blood test... and it's not even guaranteed that I can volunteer yet! Eesh.

WTF is up with my wedding resort charging a "set up fee" for any items I bring to enhance the look of my wedding/reception?? FROM $250?? even if I just wanted to bring an aisle runner and nothing else they will charge me $250 to lay it on the beach! Looks like I will not be bringing anything that requires "set up" and will rely on the natural beauty of Jamaica as a backdrop to "enhance" the look of my wedding/reception...I have a feeling that I will discover more "hidden fees" as I continue to read thru the email my wedding coordinator sent me.

Here's my WTF, W(hy)TF am I turning into one of those brides that stops posting?? I promised myself I wasn't going to be one of those.

WTF is with my dad? He hasn't talked to me since our big blow-up. H, my mom, and stepdad all think I'm right and he needs to apologize.

I'm going to do my absolute best to be a better OM on the board!

WTF. It's official - we can't "legally" get married on our wedding day in St. Thomas that we have had planned for over 9 months and our WC previously gave her blessing to. The courthouse will in fact be closed and now we have to get married here instead, and just go through the motions there.

I'm WTF'ing myself, because I should have looked at the website (even though my WC never suggested doing so). It's so unlike me not to triple check details, but I trusted that she knew the ins & outs of what days you can't legally get married there since that is her business.

I'm just bummed that I have to add to my ever-growing to-do list, and also a big part of me is having doubt - if she overlooked this, what else could be overlooked and I wouldn't know until it is too late?

Julyet -- that is a bizarre charge? What if you had someone in your WP set it up instead of the resort? Would they waive the fee?

My WTF is why haven't my BMs ordered their dresses yet?! I had one go this past Sunday to DB to get it taken care of, and they told her to expect it in August. Two others still need to order from there, and 1 is getting it made so who knows how long that will take or when it will get done. She has been completely MIA!

**Set-up fee=RIDICULOUS! I second Lora's question.

Britt-feel better!! Hopefully this will pass quickly!

Kimmy-How long are you in your session today? 7 am is just cruel!

Reggiesmommy-Is there any way to hire someone private?

Lora- Are there any other volunteering options, or are you specifically looking for the hospital setting?

I know, its crazy! Unfortunately for "insurance purposes" they will not allow anyone but resort staff to set up...so my options are to suck it up and pay them the set up fee, purchase additional items through them or make due with whatever comes with the package...I'm not having a flower girl, but I am curious if they will charge for tossing flower petals down the aisle too! (they'll probably charge for the clean up, lol)

My wtf is me! Wtf is wrong with me... Why did I think this would be so easy, and w(here)tf did I think I was getting this money from??? I'm still trying to work on a photographer and invites. I totally didn't think I'd spend so much on photography and initially thought id make my own invitations but with work consuming my time, I'm thinking it would save aggravation to just order them. I'm definitely feeling like I should be doing so much more but don't know what to do next... Ugh. Just having one of those "overwhelmed" days... Lucky for my its a wtf wed.

Nicole - yes, that's what we're doing, but our wedding date is a holiday in St. Thomas, so the courthouse will not be open. So no marriage license = we have to do the legal stuff here instead. Again, it's not the end of the world, however, I'm annoyed about it. I ran a bunch of dates past our WC initially, a long time ago, and she said this one was fine. Now it's not : (

My WTF is that someting I bought on Ebay got returned to sender. My BFF is doing the flowers at her brother's house so I sent the wooden box I ordered for the flowers to his house. Turns out HE turned the package away because he forgot we were shipping stuff there. WTF. I was trying to save on shipping costs since the wedding is out of town.

WTF is up with my allergies?! It has been crazy bad here and it sucks! I woke up with post-nasal drip. It was not pretty. Had to stick a Kleenex up my nose to help...might as well use a tampon! lol.

Julyet -- that is CRAZY!! So lame! No mention of it in your contract so wonder if you could fight it?

Nicole -- I am thinking about going into nursing so I really want to work with nurses in hospital setting to make sure its the right fit for me.
