Hi ladies - I'm a nestie - but I'm trying to help out a good friend who is getting married.Please rec your DJ and if you would - please tell me the going rate (or ballpark rate if you don't want to give me the exact figure).  She doesn't know how much to budget for a DJ and would rather not just choose someone random from the net.   I figure I would ask you ladies for a good rec.TIA!

    I am using Byrne Rock at the recommendation of a many other knotties.  His rate is $100/hour- I think that's fairly low-normal.

    Greenbelt DJ is great and very affordable.  He has really great online tools - you can customize your must play list and request songs via his website.  He's been really easy to work with and flexible. I learned about him on this board and I'm a fan so far.
