Thoughts on nite-before set-up?

We are doing an outside wedding on 10/10. Just wondering what your thoughts are about setting up the cocktail tables up the nite before? The wedding is at 12:30 so there isn't much time for setting up in the morning. The table coverings are multiple layers of lace and linens-so it's not like you can just throw a tablecloth over it and call it done. It's a little bit more involved. If we do all of this the nite before-and maybe cover them in light plastic sheeting-do you think it will be ok overnight?

We set up the day before and couldn't be happier we did--it saved so much stress the day of, and it was kind of fun :)   Check the weather and if there aren't down-pours in the forecast, the plastic sheet should be fine.  Make sure they are tied down somehow, though.

thanks- that's very reassuring. :) I think I will go ahead and plan our set-up schedule for Thursday and Friday.
