Wedding officiant

Hi! I'm getting married in June of 2010 in Williamsport and need an officiant for my outdoor wedding.  My fiance and I am not involved in any churches of which we would be able to uses their minister. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?

You could go to the court house or district justice office and see if the judge there will marry you. we are having the judge at my finance's mom's work(she works for a district justice office in lancaster pa) to marry us.

    Consider a self-uniting marriage. You don't need a minister.

We are using Theresa from inner peace ministries.   Although she is based out of Harrisburg. Here is the website link http://www.innerpeaceministries.net/index.html

If you email me, I'll give you the name/info for the Rev. we used for our outdoor wedding in Williamsport.  We both weren't involved in any church any more & he was great to work with.  leitzelh@ yahoo.com

My fi and I are in the same situation, we are doing an outdoor wedding in june 2011, neither of us are actively involved in any church and at this time in our lives, religion is not important to us so decided to ask a family member to marry us. We were against the idea of picking a random officiant that neither of us knew and we wanted something a little more personal, so we decided to ask my older brother who my fi actually looks up to alot. My brother was honored, and in PA its very easy for someone to become an ordaned ministed in order to perform weddings. If you wanted to go a little more traditional, there are alot of websites that list officiants by location. I hope this helps a little! Good Luck

YES! Dave DiRaddo did my wedding and I was blown away! Dave traveled and made our ceremony exactly what we wanted it to be. If you google WeddingDayz his website will come up. As far as traveling to Williamsport, I'm not sure. I got married in Lancaster. Hope this helps!
