I found my dress!!!!!!

    I like the bodice but I really don't like pickups or the puffy layer over the skirt. Have you tried on the dress yet? Pics?Dresses are much different on real people than the model pictures.

    I think it is pretty. Not a dress for me, but It is beautiful. As long as you have tried it on and you still like it. I have recently been dress shoipping and all the dresses I thought I would like, I don't. Congrats on finding the one.

    *Lil Krssy* - Thank you for your kind words regarding my dress I have selected. I was really excited to put it up here and get feedback. I understand that everyone has different taste - but it's been disappointing for me to get some of the feedback I received from this board as well as the Dress Board. For the most part I received some nice compliments. Can I give you a suggestion - since you are still looking for your dress and haven't posted anything yet - be aware of the criticism you may receive. It does take some of the fun out of finding your dress and makes you second guess yourself.

    Totally not something I would pick for myself, but it is a beautiful dress. What is most important is how you feel in it. When it is 'the dress' you will know, no matter what anyone else says =)

    I think the dress is nice and unique and if it suits you and makes you feel beautiful, then that's all that matters!  I had several moments of dress anxiety because it's not poofy, has almost no beading, and has a strange side wrap/bustle.  But it's mine and I love it.  So anyways- enjoy!

    mayzie - i just emailed you :-)while i was surfing the boards, i pulled up your dress and my FI saw the pic of your dress and said it is beautiful and I agree. so you get both a man and a woman's opinion. :-)

    Congratulations of finding the dress! Besides your FI, it's probably the most personal thing to you on your wedding day! Not easy to find the right one that looks good and fits the budget! It's beautiful and I bet it'll look fabulous on you! Now that you've found the right one, don't look at another dress or compare yours to other brides'. Also, remember that any bride that has criticized your dress, has found/will find her perfect dress and that one won't suit you. So don't take it too personal. If you are unsure (which it doesn't sound like you are) ask a close friend or family member that know you and your personality. That's a big part of the dress fitting you right there! Congrats!! :)

    ***Equine Osmosis*** I defintely had some dress anxiety after I picked my dress out. I had to give it a little bit of time - but then I realized I really like the dress because it is unique and not everyone will be wearing that dress. So many of the dresses I tried on were the "most popular" right now. I did just what you said I have not tried on anymore dresses - what's the point to drive myself crazy - and end up with 2 or 3 dresses. I know myself well enough to know if I went and tried on a bunch more dresses I would still come back to that dress. I agree with you everyone has different tastes and some of the dresses I see on here I would never wear but they look great on that person and they are happy with their dress and in the end that's all that matters. Anyway...thanks for the postive words - just confirmed to me that I'm on the right track and really did pick out the right dress :)
