Lash tints and eyelash extensions

I've had my lashes tinted many times and love it. DD (the bride) has never had it done before but is going to try it next week. We are also wondering about eyelash extensions. A lash tint is $20, extensions are well over $200. Has anyone had extensions? I'd like to know your thoughts.

Re: Lash tints and eyelash extensions

  • I've had extensions and I LOVED them until the 3rd touch up when my girl left and someone new butchered them.  It does take a long time for them o put them on (1 - 2 hours at times.) and the worst thing about it is whenthey tap down your lower lashes but you get used to it.
I need to find a new place because I would definitely get them again!!

  • I don't know about tints, but for extensions, I like to use fake ones that are one use.  E.L.F. has some for about $2-3 bucks, and if you don't like them it's less of an investment than extensions.
  • I just got extensions to try them out before my wedding and I LOVE them!! They are expensive but so worth it! Just make sure you find someone with experience and that uses good quality supplies. They are much more comfortable than false lashes because they are glued to your own lashes vs a strip on your lid and you can't feel them at all. They look amazing and make your eyes really pop without having to worry about runny or flaking mascara. I'm blonde so my lashes are naturally very light and I love waking up in the morning looking like I have makeup on when I don't! I would recommend the splurge for any bride. FYI: if you plan to keep them up it can get a little expensive (my girl charges $75) every 3-4 weeks, but why not plurge for the wedding?
