Fort Worth Venues that Allow Outside Catering

Hi All,I am brand new on here (I just got engaged less than two weeks ago!) and we have been looking for reception locations for June 2010. We are thinking of doing the ceremony and reception at the same place, but it is not required. We also would like to use our own caterer. We need room for 150-200 guests and we haven't really found anything on the Fort Worth side of the metroplex. Any ideas would be very helpful!Thanks!

the YWCA in Fort Worth will only hold 175 seated and 200ish standing so if you wanted to cap your guest list that's the best way to do it

That is how mine is staying down LOLI have some pictures of the YWCA in my bio and their website is in there under vendors.You bring in everything yourself...they just provide 175 chairs(one set for the great room and one set in the ballroom) and 19 round tables and some banquet tablesAnyways if you have any questions about the YWCA let me know and I can help ya since I'm getting married there in less than 3 months!

Congratulations and Whoop! It's not technically FW but some have used a garden place in Azle, I think. I can't remember the name so I can't be of much help. Appletango is having her reception at the Y in Downtown so she might be able to give you a few more pointers.

Welcome to the board! I would suggest Bass Hall but they might not let you bring in your own caterer. There is another bride using them so she might be able to tell you for sure.

I don't remember if it will hold enough, but Rose Chapel will let you bring your own catering, and it has an indoor and outdoor ceremony site.

Welcome and congrats! I'm not much help. I know Ashton Depot holds 500 but I don't think they allow outside catering.

Oh wait, have you thought about The Fort Worth Community Arts Center? http://www.fwcac.com/?rentalsor the Victory Arts Center? http://www.victoryartscenter.com/event.htmOr the Stonegate Mansion?http://www.stonegatemansion.com I think they have preferred caterers though.

Welcome! I just had my wedding at McDavid Studio which is part of Bass Hall. They do allow outside catering but you must purchase alcohol through them. HTH! I loved it!

I had bad experience with my wedding at Victory Arts Center I DO NOT recommend them.
