FI goes back to work on Monday so now I'm going to actually have to help exercise the dog and cook dinner and clean the apartment. GAH I'm so spoiled (granted I am working 80 hours/week right now).

Totally exhausted today, I had to close last night and again tonight and after busting my butt for the last 2 days I have no motivation. Thinking I could call in and come in an hour later but that will just put me further behind.
I also really need to get up and get a weight training workout in this morning before work.
On the bright side I'm going to tour a venue this Saturday and hopefully book it and have a big check out of the way so I can start planning this wedding.
OK I'm going to train now.

FI told me last night that the topic of conversation making the gossip circles in his family (ie his aunts) right now is me, and how I didn't enjoy the cruise. Well you know what? Being in a giant group was frustrating, along with the fact that my roommate was a total slob. AND I paid for the dang thing myself. If I didn't enjoy MY vacation that I paid for, that's my own business. I didn't inflict it on any of you. Move on to something else already.

On another note, BMs have gone completely silent regarding the dress situation. My sister is trying to figure out what they're thinking, you know, communicate like adults, but they aren't having it. Why am I having a WP again??

I had the weirdest dream last night...and the Knotties were in it. I'm not sure why everyone was over at our house, as we had people working here or something, but you all stopped by and somehow we ended up in my garage looking at stuff from our wedding. Wendi saw the boxes of my napkins and she commented on them, and I said jokingly, "Oh, do you want some"? And she was like yay, we don't have any paper towels or napkins at our house, so she took a box. Then I had to go through and explain where we used all of the wooden signs that are sitting there. Kinda odd??!!

H is coming home tonight! It's going to be really late, and he'll have to get up early and leave in the morning, but yay seeing my husband for a night!

Apparently the "new thing" the kids are doing these days is to say, "Everytime there's an awkward silence, a gay baby is born." I don't even know how to deal with them sometimes.

Also, I think the RSVP stress comes in no matter how many or how "responsible" your guests are.

Kathleen, I remember that very close to our deadline, we had a similar problem. A TON of people hadn't responded, and I kept thinking, "Today will be the day that we get a huge stack," and the days would go by and no cards would come.

The WORST part was that a lot of the "no-reply"s were friends/family of my ILs, and MIL, while normally totally organized and on top of things, was so flaky about calling people and confirming if they were coming. She'd just say, "Oh, I think they'll come. I don't think they'll come." Don't care what you think, please CALL THEM.

LMAO! I do happen to be out of paper towels at the moment. How funny.

So I applied for 2 positions this morning, both more along the lines of wedding planning for venues instead of corporate like I am currently doing. One is super close to our house to. Would love that, if it means I can cut back on my gas usage plus not driving on the tollway everyday.

I was mean in college and convinced some girl that lived on my floor (who was a virgin who was completely oblivious) that when it snowed outside, it meant someone was knocked up. Cruel, considering she had just made out with a guy for the first time and came to talk to me daily to ensure she couldn't have gotten preggo. OY!

No interwebz at home makes me a sad lady.

TWC said my modem is shot. I called them last night and "April" cheerfully said they could be out very quickly and come by Thursday night! >.>

Meanwhile, I'm headed to South Padre next week for three days. So here's a tip if you don't travel like myself: never have to visit someone in a vacation destination. A Holiday Inn Express will cost you $200/night for a basic room!
