Hats off to Kari!!!!

Hi Ladies!It has been awhile since I've been over here but I had to come back to say KARI DID AN AWESOME JOB coordinating the Brides Against Breast Cancer event last weekend. Three weeks before her own wedding, she was there all weekend. Kari, you made many, many brides happy with the fabulous gowns, thanks for all of your hard work bringing this tour to Denver, now get to work on your own wedding ;). I'm proud to have volunteered at such a great event.Great job girl! It was great to meet a few of the CO knotties. Best of luck to you in your upcoming weddings!!!Lauren

    I also hope I can do it next year.. Kari, you're amazing!! I hope you can take some time off and focus on YOURSELF for a couple of weeks now. Then after the wedding we can have a GTG and trash talk Jay Cuts (who will have choked big time by then. ;)) I also was happy to meet you Lauren, Brit, and Erin... And of course to see Veronica and Bernadette again. It was so much fun!

    And Ps. Kari, you found a keeper!! It was so funny watching such a manly man bag up all those wedding gowns. He seems like a great guy.. There's no way Brett would be that patient and helpful. :)

    I'm sad that I wasn't able to come volunteer (I'd love to come volunteer next year). I was just over at CH Studios for a fitting & Christine was talking about how much fun she had there as well. Sounds like it was a HIT! Way to go Kari!!!

    Yes Kari, it was a blast! I am definitely in for next year! Mindy it nice to meet you too. Kari, what were the names of the photographers on Sunday? I wanted to look at the pictures on their sites.........

    Thanks ladies!! (tear!) I do it because i love it. Cancer has rocked my life and i know what its like to want to forget for a moment. The shows happen because of the volunteers. I couldn't do it myself. THANK ALL OF YOU for your time and smiles, you've made a difference in the lives of so many people. Stats: (because thats how I roll haha) In 2 days, 10 hours of sales, 85 volunteers, 127 gowns and countless veils and bags...(insert drum roll) we raised over $25,000!!! closer to $26, but who's counting haha We're going to be able to grant many wishes with this money. You've all reached lives of people you will never know, but I know they say THANK YOU too. I have 3 weeks until my wedding, then I will begin working on BABC 2010!! Keep an eye out for nagging next year, we're going bigger and better!! THANK YOU ALL!!

    ps. thanks for the recognition of Michael. He is an amazing man. He wasn't planning on working the whole show, but when the buzz got going he too didn't want to leave. he was amazed with out knottie network and how well we all interact, having never "met" before. He admitted, I'm not as crazy as he thought, the knotties are great haha GO KNOTTIES!! haha

    I had a great time, it was fun to help other brides find their dress! It makes me wish my wedding were MUCH sooner! I would love to help out next year.
