Purchasing alcohol

I know this has been posted before but I can't find it.  My FIL's are purchasing our alcohol and need to know how much to buy. We are having about 200 people at our wedding Oct 10. I know someone had posted a list of the different kinds and amounts to get of each.  Also some of you had recommendations on where to buy it.  I'm on the south west side of cleveland.  Thanks for your help.

    When I requested info from St. Nick's banquet hall in Mogadore, they sent the menu, plus these guidelines (since they don't provide the alcohol): Though you know your guests and their drinking preferences best, below are the suggested minimum amounts of alcoholic beverages per 100 guests (750 ml. bottles). 3 bottles Whiskey 2 bottles Peach Schnapps 1 bottle Bourbon 1 bottle Rum 3 bottles Vodka 1 bottle Scotch 1 bottle Gin 1 bottle Kahlua Beer: 4 cases winter season; 6 cases summer season Wine or Champagne: 1 bottle per 8 guests or one per table if served before dinner with a toast.

    I would actually go a little higher on the amounts than what pp stated (obviously, this depends on how much you think your family will be drinking). We had 200 guests and, although I don't have the exact numbers in front of me right now, I do know we ended up using 9 bottles of vodka and 3 bottles of kahlua.  It was actually recommended to us to have 10-12 bottles of vodka - so we ended up using less than the recommendation.

    We went less then the recommended amount on the peach schnapps, and we still had a TON left, like 4 or 5 bottles!  Only one bottle had a small amount gone!  haha
