Bachelorette weekend in Charleston

I am super excited!! We are leaving early friday morning to go to charleston for the weekend for my Bach. weekend. I have no idea what my girls have planned....they are being really sneaky. But that is good....i love suprises. Anywho, any of you that know the charleston area know of any fun places to eat, go out ect.?? We are staying at Folly Beach so during the day, we are soaking up some rays and putting our toes in the sand.

    I've never been to Charleston, but I hope you have a great time!
    TTC since Sept 2009 with PCOS. 3 failed Clomid cycles; 3 failed IUI's; 1 failed injectable + TI cycle. Surprise BFP on 1/22/12 while waiting to start IVF! EDD 9/30/12.
    Missed m/c discovered 2/20/12 (8w1d). D&C 2/23/12

    I am going there for mine Oct 3!!! I can't wait! I forget where we're staying... it's like the Holiday Inn and a block off downtown. We weren't that worried about it since we will be drinking a bit. I know we are going to try to go to the rooftop bar. Other than that, I have no idea! Have fun and let us know how it is!

    Oh I LOVE charleston. We use to go to Folly Beach all the time when i was younger. I can't say where to eat/bars because i was in middle school when we use to go. But your going to have a BLAST!!

    I have been to charleston several times but we never really went "out". My brother got married in Isle of Palms and we stayed right on the beach so we basically drank at the house mostly. He actually lived there for several months...Mount Pleasant area and we would go to the local bars. I know the girls mentioned downtown charleston......

    Its been a couple of years since I've been to Charleston but its so much fun!  If they still have the rooftop bar at the Market Pavilion (I think that's what its called?) - the fancy hotel on the corner across from the Customs house - they have an awesome view!

    Hopefully your girls have everything planned out for you, but I'll give you a few suggestions. At Folly- there's not a whole lot, but there is a really great taco place Downtown food-yo burrito, hominy grill, s.n.o.b., Charleston crabhouse, Tsunami When I get home I can give you more suggestions. I lived there for a couple years but I can't remember the names of everything.

    Okay, I've got more suggestions for downtown. Bars - Henry's on the Market, Rooftop at the Vendue Inn, Tommy Condon's Irish Pub, Blind Tiger Pub (they have an awesome courtyard out back)Food - Hank's, High Cotton, Andolini's (awesome pizza), Vickery'sIf you want the best burger of your life, go to Poe's on Sullivan's Island.

    I went to Charleston for the 4th and I LOVE it! I second Poes...I got a burger there and it was amazing...and huge! Red's is also really good...they had pretty good drink prices too (LIT pitchers for like $13). The place right beside Red's (I think it's like RB's or something) has great food as well. Have fun!
