DYI Invitations

My fiance and I are wanting to make our own inviations.  Any one know of any websites or stores around the area that have cute templates/packages/cards etc?

Try www.stylemepretty.com or www.weddingbee.com You can try www.etsy.com to have someone custom create your invites and then you guys do the printing and assembling.  Good luck and happy planning.

You can buy blank cardstock from Michael's, A.C. Moore - basically any craft store, or even Target.  You can also create them yourself in MS Word if you find a clip art file that you like.  That's how I did mine.  (Pictures in my bio.)  You can try to search for free ones online, or you can even buy images from sellers on Etsy.

Another option is to hang out on the DIY board and read through people's bios.  A lot of girls over there have templates in their bios.

Try www.whiteaisle.com. We didn't use their invitations but I did DIY placecards, table numbers, and programs and I LOVE them.

I second Paper Source.  I just got all of my supplies there last night.  They have stores in Georgetown, Reston and Alexandria.  There are consultants there, too, that will help you design and collect the right materials.  The woman that helped me last night was great...I can't remember her name, though.
