Fitting today!

So I had my fitting today, everything went really well but I got the feeling the seamstress was a bit annoyed with me.  I've lost 12 lbs and quite a few inches since the first week of December when I dropped it off.  :)  To me this was great b/c the dress was pretty tight and not very comfortable.

So, she wants to see me again in 2 weeks to see what my mesurements are and pin the dress (since i'll need more hem (hips shrank) and taken in at the chest).  Then i've got to come back the weekend before we leave for FL to pick it up!  EEK that's kindof nerve racking!

    Congrats on the weight loss! Surely she is accustomed to this, as many brides try to lose weight before the big day! She can work with you. It just may mean more work for her/money for you. 

    Mine was today as well! We took measurements for the hem and bustle, and just made sure everything was good in terms of the fit in the hips/bust. I was a little worried it might be off, because while I have actually lost weight since I last saw my seamstress, I haven't been exercising like I was for the year or so prior to my first 2 fittings, so I thought maybe the fit would be different. She actually wanted to take it in more in the small of my back though, which made me feel awesome. Yay!

    Congrats on losing weight, I was not so successful but I'm ok with it lol Everything will be fine, she'll make it work :)

    P.S. Can you please share with me the ticker for the RSVPs? I like the specific one you're using.

    Thanks everyone!  It's been tough to lose the weight, but i feel great and LOVE how I look!  I can def see a difference!  LOL  I was thinking the same thing - i know it's wedding season, but really?  I'm paying for this...  lol  all well - like you said, she's prob used to this and is having a busy season!  :) 

    Congrat's to you too, Erica!!  It's a great feeling right!!  :)

    Congrats on your weight losses ladies!  I've lost a little--not a lot, but about what I was looking to lose, so hopefully when I try my dress on in 2 weeks it fits perfect!  (I had it altered already, but I'm trying it on 6 weeks before, JIC it needs last minute tweaks).  

    Feeling great it what it's all about!

    Congrats on the weight loss! I am definitely not exercising as much as I wanted to and haven't lost the weight, but it is fine.  The seamstress has got to be used to it, this is what brides do.  It will all work out.

    yeah i def didn't lose the weight I wanted to lose....but then again, at least I'll look like me on the wedding day haha.

    I know tons of people who lose a ridiculous amount of weight before their wedding, so don't worry about it.  This is her job and I'm sure she is used to it
