Include registry on invite?

My shower was a few weeks ago & the invitation had our registry information. (we're having a honeymoon registry) should I include it in the wedding invite although everyone knows we need $ for honeymoon?

I've been told that you don't usually put that in the invite and that it should be a word-of-mouth thing. Maybe leave it up to your BMs to pass it around. Not sure...

I wouldn't put it on the wedding invite. I think people will figure it out, if you have a wedding website I would definitely put it there.

No! :) Like PP said - put it on the website if you have one

NO. If anything you could do the inserts that are given to you by the companies you register with.We are just putting a link to our wedding website on our accommodations card and the site has links to our registry. HTH

No! Just include website info, as others have said :)

I don't have a website, so I'm including it in the invitation. Not on the actual invitation, but I'm putting an insert in with the invitation and response card that has the registry information. I'd say just include to include it especially for older people that are not internet savvy and would not look at a website.

We definitely did not put it on the actual invitation. We put a reception card insert, which also had our wedding website (theKnot one - which is free) listed on there. Our website had our registry info. HTH! :)
