Any one have any ideas on places close by for a weekend away for a Bachelorette Party? We went to Lake geneva for my Bach party so we wanted to do somewere else. TIA!

    You could try Michigan city in Indiana. It's an hour away and you could probable rent a house or hotel...plus the Blue Chip Casino is right there. Just a thought...

    I've heard a lot of brides say they enjoyed their bachelorette weekend getaway in Galena.

    What are the guests like?  I think the Starved Rock lodge would be cool and I also loved Lake Lawn Lodge in Delavan, Wi but that's a bit of a hike.  How about something fun like a trip to the Bristol Renaissance faire?

Lake Geneva Lake Delavan Door County Wisconsin Dells Lake Lawn Saugatuck Michigan Galena Put in Bay Ohio Ann Arbor Michigan Port Washington Wisconsin Good luck! Have fun

    Galena is straight west of DeKalb near the Iowa border.  It's beautiful, rolling hills, a winery, spas, cabins to rent, cute shops, etc.
