Warcraft Cake Topper

I've mainly lurked and I know there are quite a few of you who play WoW. I was just wondering if any of you had a custom cake topper made of your characters. Any recommendations for places to order from? There are a ton that do custom cake toppers but my FI will be upset if they mess up his BE so I was hoping for a site that someone has had personal experience with.

I've seen some people use those character print jobbers, you know, the figurines, but they're WAY expensive.

I reeeeally wanted to do this, but we couldn't bring ourselves to spend the money on it. Instead, we named our tables after place in game and took 'pics' of our toons standing there. There are pics in my planning bio, and yes, I know that Zangarmarsh is misspelled. I fixed it (thanks DH for telling me the wrong thing).

I thought the waiting list for figure prints was like a year or something? We considered finding someone to make one from etsy, but decided against it. Have you googled it in general? I think I found something awhile ago, but really can't remember. It would have been well over $100 for 2, though.

temerity - you are awesome, AWESOME! Thanks so much!!$129.95 isn't too bad since this will be his bday gift (his bday is the day after wedding) and I didn't actually need it for a cake topper but thought it would lead me to someone that can re-create his character.

bec - I lost those 11 lbs since the beginning of the year through small changes in my diet and by starting to exercise, mainly starting the Couch to 5k program. I usually eat well at lunch during the work week: lean meat and veggies and fruit. I will have to say that I was at 130 for a few months before I hit my beginning weight of 140. I indulged in too much cheese and chocolate during the winter and that caused me to gain weight. So, my body was able to bounce back relatively quickly.sucrets - Noooo, a year? I looked at the FAQ and it said "While our goal is to complete each print in less than one month, it can take several months in cases where we have a particularly difficult character pose or weapon choice."

Sucrets I want to name our tables after places in the game but the fiance doesn't like the idea! Now I can say "Aha! Someone else did it, too!" and hopefull that will lend weight to my argument. If it's not considered too nosy, may I ask which names you used?

manda - I'm pretty sure pics of all are in my planning bio. We picked places that were pretty, lol. That was DH's job. Feel free to show them to your FI. Very few people 'got it' at our wedding, but it was one of my fave details. I'm not sure if I have any pics up in my married bio of the set tables, but I can try to post some later or email them to you.

I find this all too interesting!! I play a 80 troll shammy! My FI has 4 80s, and I have shelved the game since the wedding is in a little over a month!! I play a little bit here and there but have not raided in over a month!! I know nothing about cake toppers, we are using flowers to keep it simple! Hope everything goes well!!

Not sure who's still reading this, but here's an update: I contacted FigurePrints and they said at the most it takes them 3 months. Their customer service person said he'll add a note to prioritize my order and to e-mail him back if I don't hear any status updates by mid-September. Hopefully I'll receive it by September 26!
