Bridal Salons in Denver

Hi. I'm not from the area, I live in New Jersey and I'm visiting one of my BMs in Denver in a few weeks. We wanted to go look at wedding gowns together, so I'm looking for recommendations for some good bridal salons. I'm a bigger gal (size 18/20), so places that are big girl friendly and would have a range of sizes to try on would be best. I know Davids would be an option, but I was hoping to find a place that carries higher end labels too. Any suggestions?

D'Anneli's samples are size 12, but they may have bigger sizes available too, you should call them and ask. GL!

hi, i know when i was trying on gowns at d'anelli's, there was a plus sized girl in there trying on some adorable designer gowns.  like you said david's has a big selection of sizes as well. i didn't actually try on gowns more than twice, and i don't remember if amanda's bridal had plus sizes or not. i hope that was helpful...haha.

Thanks for the tips. I checked the websites and it looks like Amandas does have plus size samples, which is encouraging. And the other one carries the designer that I like, so it might be worth checking out even if I can't try on the sample.

I am plus size as well & I went to Amandas & Chiyos.  I wasn't actually impressed with Amanda's selection of plus size gowns...but maybe that's b/c they didn't have much in my size.  I actually ended up trying on several dresses at Chiyos (in Aurora) and found my dress there.  Its not the nicest store-front and is a bit crowded inside...but they had lots of plus size samples when I was there last year.  Good Luck!
no identifiable siggy pictures anymore, thanks a lot stupid nest!

D'Anelli's has a lot of plus-sized samples.  They are on Alameda just east of Wadsworth.  Good luck!

Amanda's does have a large selection of size 16 thru 24 on the rack that are designer styles.

Depending on how much higher-end you would like to go... Priscilla of Boston has all of their gowns in both a size 8 and a size 18ish to try on.  I was a street size 16 when trying dresses on and they had one dress that was too big on me :)  Most of their bigger ones, I could fit into, but still clip in the back.
