Downtown Wedding Reception Venues

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel for an evening reception i.e ballroom, plated meal etc?  I have been looking around but a lot are overpriced......

I haven't really seen anything in Downtown Boston for under $120 pp.... I live in the city but will be getting married outside the city for this very reason. Good luck and if you find something let me know!

I highly recommend the Seaport Hotel. We had our wedding there last June and they were amazing to work with. You can read my review in my bio (under Vendor Reviews), and I have some pics in my bio of the room we used (Lighthouse Room) and other reception related pics. You can also see more pics in the slideshow from my photographer (link in siggy).

We got married at the Intercontinental last month at it was awesome!  It is definitely not cheap, but I felt that we got really good value for the price we paid, and seeing our wedding, I felt it was worth every penny!
