Saturday Morning!

I'm up, the animals have been fed, I'm drinking my coffee and enjoying Silver Streak.

The carpets got cleaned yesterday and they look fabulous. The only problem is dealing with the dogs feet because of the mud outside.

Today is a  busy day, but I'm lounging till I have to get started.

    I'm lounging too waiting for stores to open.  Altho I think Kohl's actually never closed last night.

    kd - we ended up buying a used carpet cleaner since crabby cat is kind of up-chucky.  It's an older Bissell and really a beast but it works great.  We end up doing our carpets probably 5-6x a year.

    Morning!

    It snowed!  Finally.  The dead grass look wasn't doing much towards keeping my Christmas spirit up but I'm better now.

    I'm getting rid of my niece since she has choir practice and then making a proper brunch before we head out on errands.  I need to find some sort of cabinet for the kitchen.  Appliance clutter is driving me nuts.

    Went to a bridal brunch this morning (she didn't register, so this was kind of in lieu of a shower). And now I'm cooking on through until our party at 8. So excited! Everything I made last night turned out so good, and I feel good about everything else!

    Last night I made:
    -White Trash 
    -Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies
    -Toffee chocolate bark
    -Roasted garlic hummus

    And today it's been:
    -Meatballs
    -Buffalo Chicken Dip
    -Spiked hot cocoa

    And everything except the hot chocolate is from scratch. I can't stand store bought party trays!
