Vistaprint situation update

So I decided to wait for the directions cards after my last post of not having received them yet. As of today I STILL do not have them.  My order confirmation email says I will have them "on or before August 28"....nothing like stretching it to the very last day.   My order was placed on 8/7 and according to the USPS tracking they left Boston at 2:30am Monday so I thought for sure they'd be in my mail box today.  I decided I would give it til the mail comes tomorrow.  If they still are not there, the invitations are going out anyway.  I cannot wait another day.and to top it off, I got an email a few minutes ago from them asking for my feedback.  Um....seriously?  Whatever.

    did you choose slow?  generally they come faster than that but I guess they are busier now??  I would say get all of the invites ready to go and then as soon as they come stuff them and send them...i would wait at least until the 1st.

    I did choose slow.  All of the invites are stuffed and completely ready, I just need to throw the cards in there and seal.

    Like a bunch of people said the other day - direction cards are great to have, but not a necessity.  If you feel like the invitations need to go out immediately, I would send them out today and just use the direction cards to get from the ceremony to the reception.  It's a shame that you've had to wait so long.  It's unfair to you.

    smange--yeah, I have felt that at this point I've already waited for this long what's another few days (also thinking I'd have them by now!!).  so I figure I'll wait til tom. and see what the mailman brings.

    Maybe try to check with your post office and see if they have them there? Long shot but maybe you can tell them the site said you should have them by yesterday and wanted to see if you could pick them up? GL! Sorry you are still waiting for these.

    I would send them with out the direcytion cards in this day of GPS & mapquest . Most people never use the cards. Perhaps have them at teh eromoney if they give directions to your reception or in yout OTT bags. I bet they will come in today or Monday. My folks live near Boston and  if they mail someting on friday i typically get it on monday.

    I hope you get them today after waiting this long! But I think it's totally fine to send them out without the direction cards.
