I'm predisposed to being gastrointestinally acidic. I take prilosec from time to time and did this morning. I've taken a couple rolaids for short term relief. It still feels like I'm eating a hole in my esophagus. I'm annoyed. Now you.

A while back, I biitched that none of the companies I applied to ever contacted me to tell me "thanks but no thanks," and I wished they had the balls to at least tell me that. Now the rejections are rolling in (via email??) and I want it to go back to the way it was before. I feel worthless, and that annoys me.

On the HM backpacking in Montana that DH and I were in close proximity to deer mice (we ate some oreos when we realized after the fact there were mouse droppings in the bag). Deer mice are the main vectors of hantavirus. It's a scary f-ing disease, and now I'm really tired this week and my heart rate's been high and I keep psyching myself into thinking maybe I have it.Hypochondria is annoying.

My sister e-mailed a co-worker of hers who's son's friend is an attorney in my area, asking if she could put us in touch. The friend responded and my sister forwarded me their exchange. The woman's response:[after explaining this guy is a patent attorney, which is totally not what I am qualified/interested in] She must be very unhappy right now. That is very sad. I feel sorry for her, with all her qualifications and she can't find a job!!!STABBY.

My boss has been on vacation in Europe for three weeks, and he told us that he was having the office repainted and wanted it rearranged by the time he came back. It's finished, and it looks fantastic. And I know -- I KNOW -- that the first thing he's going to do is complain that nothing is where he wants it to be. He's not going to notice the great new paint job or the way that I've reorganized things so that it's neater and easier to navigate in here. He told us to do it before he got back...even though he likes things to be exactly the way he wants them. So yeah. Not annoyed yet. But I'm gonna be when he returns on Tuesday...

My boss is in Europe and won't be calling in for the rest of the day but I still have to sit here for the next 3.5 hours. I'm so annoyed I can't just go home and have a nap on this stupid rainy day. Also, once I get off work I'm meeting up with my one BM who annoys the hell outta me.

My sister is kind of socially clueless sometimes. It was a whole e-mail exchange between her and this woman that she forwarded me. You'd think she could just send me an e-mail saying, "X says he's a patent attorney and can't really help much, sorry!" But no, I get to see this whole exchange re: my pathetic-ness. Great.I feel ya, J&K. I'm in the "never hear from people again" camp even though I follow up. 90% of the jobs I'm applying for state, "no calls please" so you have to e-mail, which makes it even easier for them to blow you off.

The financial situation with my douche-bag of an ex-husband has got me so stressed right now. Chest pains? Check. Fatigue all of the time? Check. Overly emotional/weepy when I'm normally pretty stoic? Check. Nightmares about losing my house to foreclosure? Check. Hair falling out by the handsful? Check. I'm a walking textbook example for stress-related infirmities.

This lady I work with can't speak English. I mean she just told us she was running late to work "cause I had to load up the grandkids in the van and take them to the bus stop so they didn't get drownded." Seriously? They "didnt get drown-ded?" WTF?

I really hate it when someone says something funny, then 7 other people say they laughed so hard they spit their water, coffee, soda all over their computer. Is it that hard to keep the liquids in your mouth? And was it really that funny? That's my annoyance of the day. It happens alot on my local.

Our lease ended on July 29th. Today is August 28th, 30 days later. We are supposed to get our (nearly 2k) security deposit back within 30 days of the lease ending, and haven't yet. Since today is day 30, I called our old landlady and asked about it. She said "oh yes, the check got put in the mail today!" Way to wait to the 30 day mark. It is within her rights, but really annoying. Thats a lot of my money to hang onto for NO APPARENT REASON. And we are getting married next week and sorta were counting on it to help us purchase some last minute things and gifts. At least we know its coming now.

My credit card got stolen for the second time in a month. By the same woman at my gym who somehow knows my combination apparently. And both times she has racked up fraudulent charges at stores I won't even shop at because they are too expensive. I think Chase's fraud department now thinks I am sketchy. I love my trainer but I think I may have to leave this gym.

I'm annoyed that even though I hardly ever spend money on myself, I still can't seem to scrape up the cash to pay off this damn credit card! I'mthisclose, too! Something always come up. This month--paying car insurance and wedding bands. I'm also annoyed that if I want to work full time, I have to work night shift, but my old bones are reluctant to go back to nights, so part time it is.

Kati - I know its 30 days, but I guess I should look into whether or not we should have RECEIVED it within that time. I assumed she had 30 days to send it, but I'm not sure. Another annoyance - FI's parents offered to host the rehearsal dinner (which we are having at our house) and give us a set amount of $$$ for it. The rehearsal dinner is next Saturday and we still haven't received the money. They live 9 hours away and will be arriving in town 2-3 hours before dinner. So FI and I have to buy everything and get everything ready ourselves(which is FINE) but I'm getting kind of annoyed that the money hasn't arrived yet. If they expect us to use it to shop, when do they expect us to DO the shopping? We need to go tomorrow or else we won't have time. I hope I don't sound ungrateful, but we have a strict budget and would have budgeted that money elsewhere if they didn't offer to give it to us. Since they did, we don't have anything else set aside. I don't doubt that it is coming eventually, but I'm a little annoyed that they didn't plan ahead and consider the fact that we may need to go shopping ahead of time. At least I know where FI's lack of planning ahead comes from now : )

I'm annoyed because no matter how much money I make I still can't seem to get out of debt. I don't spend a lot of money on myself and yet I seem to be scraping by each month. Now I've started paying back student loans and it's such a huge chunk of $$ each month on top of everything else I fear I will never pay off (or heck, even pay down) my credit cards. Clearly I need to take another look at my spending to see where I am throwing away money.

Jily, I have the same IL annoyance. FI's parents are paying for our RD but I had to put a $500 deposit down a month ago and haven't received a check yet. They are coming into town this weekend though so hopefully they'll pay me back.
