Salsa father - daughter song?

Hello Brides to be, or Brides that are! lolI got a real challenge for any hispanics out there. I was hoping to dance with my father a salsa song for our father-daughter dance.. and i am literally drawing a blank! I have asked my mother, friends, and coworkers and they can't think of anything appropriate. So im desperate! Can you think of any good (upbeat) salsa songs?I would appreciate any help, and thanks in advance!

Hi Mooniness, I totally feel your pain. I am Cuban myself and I really would like to incorporate some of my heritage in the wedding without going all havana nights and guayaberas on everyone. How about Princesa from Frankie Negron? The lyrics are really nice and the song has a good tempo to dance to. Upbeat but not too fast. Okay theres one called "Princesa" by Frankie Negron I think. Not sure if it gives the whole father/daughter vibe, but I think it kind of does because of the princess part. HTH!

La Vida es un Carnaval by Celia Cruz. Rep it!!! : )I wish we had good salsa dancers. We'll try our best but I can't promise we'll be any good. I should be ashamed that I'm cuban

I was going to do amor narcotico by chichi peralta, but I ended up starting of with mi nina bonita and then surprising everyone with a fast merengue...you should check it out, though.

Ok, the "Princesa" one won't work because it says something about kissing her lips.  Don't think you'd want to say that.  Here it is on youtube with lyrics.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fjlm1wegFv4
