favorite shower locations?

Hi girls! I've migrated to the bump since my wedding days are long gone but the long island mommies to be are few & far between. So I've come to my old reliable knotties!Would you guys throw a few good shower locations at me for suffolk or eastern nassau county?I've heard the irish coffee house is nice but I've never  been. And someone mentioned the George Washington manor.Where were your showers and what places did you love?TIA

i HATE showers in restaurants. mine was in my grandmothers back yard. catered champagne party. was wonderful-no time constraints etc... i did go to one at 105 harbor that I liked more than any other one i've been to before. not sure where you're lookng though....105 is in CSH

I'd agree with you that a shower at someones house is so much  nicer. People tend to walk around and mingle more!I'd love to use my Aunts backyard because it looks like it fell out off  the cover of Home & Garden magazine but the shower would be in January and no one has a house big enough for 60 people! lol

Sorry, I'm no help. 99% chance that mine is going to be in my godmother's backyard.

I have been to a couple at the Irish Coffee House and they were all nice.  They have several different rooms depending on the size of your party.  The food was good too.  I didn't have one yet but I am hoping for an early brunch this way we are not there all day.

I'm trying to find a good place too! We have a backyard option, but the shower will likely be late May/Early June, and I just KNOW my luck it will rain and we'll all be crammed inside.  I was hoping to find a very reasonably priced, yet classly, place that won't cost my BM's too much... let me know if you come across anything in your search!
